Art from the Land of the Cougars
Opening on March 3rd at the Blue Star LAB is Art from the Land of the Cougars, a survey exhibition highlighting the strength and quality of the University of Houston's renown School of Art. This exhibition, curated by Wayne Gilbert, will show the depth, breadth and scope of the UoH arts education and its great legacy to the Texas art community.
Along with the openings that evening, Blue Star will simultaneous host a kickoff party on March 3rd to mark the official start of Contemporary Art Month for the city of San Antonio. In celebration the Blue Star Bus will be traveling between the opening receptions at the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center Main Campus and the Blue Star LAB.
