Art in the Garden
The annual Blue Star Contemporary Art Center and San Antoino Botanical Garden sculpture collaborative explores large scale steal pieces with the work of John Henry. The Art in the Garden exhibit, curated by Bill FitzGibbons, opens this summer at the San Antonio Botanical Garden showcasing the work of artist John Henry. Known worldwide for his large-scale public works of art, John Henry will exhibit his contemporary metal sculptures throughout the 33 acres of the Botanical Garden. The exhibit features massive geometric structures made of aluminum and steel. The pieces communicate a universal visual language through simple, geometric forms and bright vivid colors.
