Gallery 4And… is an installation composed using the simplest elements: 6 24’ length aluminum sheets placed in atop each other to delineate space. As a temporary configuration, the installation intends to bridge the gap between architecture and performance. This particular installation is one of many different assemblies that And… can accommodate.
Having no set assembly, And… attempts to bring to light the notion of architecture as a medium of permanence and call it false. Architecture quite to the contrary is active and adaptive and presents opportunities for new actions. As the title implies, And… is conjuctive and looks to bring meaning through its relationship with its environment - in so doing creating a new one, if only for a few weeks.
