The History of the Future » ARTsmart MOSAIC Students, a Blue Star Contemporary Art Center after school program for high school students led by internationally exhibited artist Alex Rubio, will have a unique opportunity to work with The History of the Future exhibiting artists Julian Cardona and Michael Berman in a special workshop on photography and the artists perceptive. Student will work directly with the two visiting artists and learn that through the eye of a camera, one moment tells a story that lasts forever.
This year’s FOTOSEPTIEMBRE, hosted by Blue Star Contemporary Art Center and The Lannan Foundation, is proud to present an exhibit titled The History of the Future. Nancy Sutor, independent curator, will preview work gathered from Michael Berman and Julian Cardona. The art is a complex collection of photographs and stories from seven years’ past on the topic of the border wildlands of US and Mexcio.
