Blue Star Now Open Sundays
(SAN ANTONIO) - Meeting an increasing demand for Sunday admission, Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum has shifted its museum hours. The museum will now be open to the public Thursday 12 - 8 pm and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12 - 6 pm. The museum will continue bringing contemporary art to all audiences through complimentary admission now offered Thursday evenings from 4 - 8 pm. In addition, to introduce the new Sunday opening hours, the museum will offer complimentary admission on Sundays during the upcoming exhibition TX★13, on view Thursday, September 5 - Saturday, November 9, 2013.
"Everyone here at Blue Star Contemporary, from the Board to the staff, is extremely excited about offering new public hours here at the museum. Opening on Sundays seems a natural choice for us, with so many San Antonians, as well as out-of-town visitors, coming to the Blue Star Arts Complex and the Mission Reach branch of the Riverwalk every weekend. We believe offering this additional weekend access to our exhibitions and programs is a terrific way to serve Blue Star Contemporary's mission to inspire creativity for everyone in San Antonio," said Steven Evans, Blue Star's Consulting Manager.
