Film Premiere: "Lucy and Jake"
Blue Star Contemporary Art Center hosts the premiere of Lucy and Jake, directed and produced by Michael Berrier. The story is about young lovers, Lucy and Jake. She is a reporter for SA ReMix, a weekly San Antonio magazine. Her editor has assigned Lucy to write a story about sex in the local art scene. Jake is the photographer for the same magazine. Art imitates life, as Lucy betrays Jake at a party at Mike Casey's house, where she makes love to a dancer after a performance at the Carver. They struggle with the betrayal, even as Lucy interviews local artists and collectors about sex and artists.
